Intermodal Fuel Charge – September 23, 2018

Intermodal Fuel Charge

August 22, 2018

We are continuing to monitor the prices we pay for our Intermodal Fuel Charge.  As a result, we will be adjusting the Intermodal Fuel Charge as follows based on date of vessel departure.  These changes are represented by the PDF below entitled ‘Intermodal Fuel Charge (IFC) by State’.

The IFC adjustments will become effective September 23, 2018 for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands trades.

We are continuing to monitor the prices we pay for our bunker fuel.  As a result we will be adjusting our bunker fuel charge as follows based on date of vessel departure:

Intermodal Fuel Charge -May 4, 2018

 

We are continuing to monitor the prices we pay for our Intermodal Fuel Charge.  As a result we will be adjusting the Intermodal Fuel Charge as follows based on date of vessel departure.  These changes are represented by the PDF below entitled ‘Intermodal Fuel Charge (IFC) by State’.

The IFC adjustments will become effective June 10, 2018 for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands trades.

Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge

Effective May 20, 2018, all refrigerated shipments to/from Puerto Rico are subject to a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge.  This charge is being implemented to recover additional costs associated with the on terminal storage in Puerto Rico of refrigerated containers. The Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge is as follows:

When CARRIER is required to maintain operating reefers at their terminal in Puerto Rico, a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge will be assessed as follows:

Southbound to Puerto Rico

Refrigerated Shipments to Puerto Rico will be billed a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge beginning at 7:00AM on the second business day after complete vessel discharge and will accrue until the refrigerated container is removed from CARRIER’s terminal. The day of discharge and the following business day are free days.  Upon expiration of the Free Time period, CARRIER will assess a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge of $100.00 per refrigerated container per calendar day or fraction thereof.

Import Shipments to Puerto Rico will be billed to the Consignee of record.

Northbound from Puerto Rico

Refrigerated Shipments from Puerto Rico will be billed a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge beginning at 7:00AM on the fourth business day after the container is delivered to CARRIER’s terminal.  The day of delivery and the following three (3) business day are free days.  Upon expiration of the Free Time period, CARRIER will assess a Refrigerated Equipment Energy Charge of $100.00 per refrigerated container per calendar day or fraction thereof.

Export Shipments from Puerto Rico will be billed to the Shipper of record.

Special Notes – Containers remain subject to Free Time and Demurrage charges as specified in the tariff or contract whichever is applicable.

MILITARY HOUSEHOLD GOODS RATES – PUERTO RICO

 

The attached Military Household Goods rates are effective May 1, 2018 through April 30, 2019. These rates are only applicable if supported by a Government Bill of Lading (GBL). Please also note that the accessorial charges are subject to change at any time.

Environmental Recovery Fee (ERF)-January 30, 2018

 

Effective February 19, 2018, all shipments are subject to an Environmental Recovery Fee (“ERF”) implemented to recover additional costs associated with the use of marine diesel fuel.  The Environmental Recovery Fee (“ERF”) charges are as follows:

Intermodal Market Adjustment Charge (IMA)- January 11, 2018

 

TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico has been monitoring the prices paid for intermodal services over the last few months due to decreased capacity and increased costs. As a result we will be instituting the Intermodal Market Adjustment (IMA) Charge based on date of vessel departure. This charge is represented by the PDF below entitled ‘Intermodal Market Adjustment (IMA) by State’.

The Intermodal Market Adjustment Charge will become effective February 1, 2018 for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands trades.
