NolanTim_smallTim Nolan | President, Puerto Rico

Tim Nolan joined TOTE Maritime in April of 2013 as the Executive Vice President and was promoted to President in January 2014. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry.

Prior to joining TOTE Maritime, Nolan served as the Senior Vice President of the International Division for Yusen Logistics Americas (formerly known as NYK Logistics). In this role, he was responsible for 20 offices including the Ocean, Customs House Brokerage, Mexico Cross Border and Supply Chain Solutions divisions.

Nolan began his career with the A.P. Moller-Maersk organization in 1994. He was selected as a candidate for the elite Maersk Management Training Program and held his first position in Trade Management working in the East Coast of South America Service. Subsequently, he held executive positions in both the Shipping and Logistics Divisions with international postings in Chile and Denmark. His most recent roles in Maersk included Regional Director, responsible for the Maersk Logistics organization in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and Sr. Director of Strategy for North America as part of the A.P. Moller- Maersk Strategy Team who was responsible for establishing the 5 year Growth Plan for the global organization.

He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. He is also an alumnus of the Ohio State’s Fisher School of Business and Columbia University Executive Business Programs. Nolan lives in Jacksonville, FL with his wife Jeanine and their 3 children.

wagstaffJim Wagstaff | VP Operations, Puerto Rico

Mr. Wagstaff joined TOTE Maritime in October 1998 as an Operations Supervisor in Jacksonville, Florida. From January 1999 to 2008, he held several leadership positions within the Maintenance & Repair and Terminal Management departments.

In March 2008, he was promoted to AVP Terminal Operations with companywide responsibilities for equipment, marine, and terminal functions. In July of 2011 he advanced to Vice President Operations when Inland Transport and Risk Management functions were added to his list of management duties. He’s been employed by TOTE Maritime for more than 15 years.

Wagstaff is Vice President of Operations at TOTE Maritime; he is currently leading the project management team preparing for the arrival of TOTE Shipholding’s two new LNG powered vessels. His responsibilities related to the project include terminal modernization in both Jacksonville and San Juan, designing and building innovative cargo and cargo handling equipment, aspects of the vessel design and LNG delivery systems, along with implementing a new Terminal Operating System.

He attended Florida State College, and has received Advanced Leadership and Management training from the University of North Florida, Columbia, and Harvard Business School.

LiskAlyse_smallAlyse Lisk | VP Cargo Services, Puerto Rico

Alyse Lisk joined TOTE Maritime in October 2011 as Vice President of Cargo Services. She has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry.

Prior to joining TOTE Maritime, Lisk was Vice President of Market Management for the Transportation Division at Yusen Logistics Americas (formerly known as NYK Logistics).

Ms. Lisk began her career with the A.P. Moller-Maersk organization in 1990. She started on the Customer Service team quoting and rating Bills of Lading, and then moved to Charleston, SC with the Marine Terminal in 1993. Starting in 1995 she began working with the Inland Operations group. Lisk then moved to Charlotte, NC and was promoted to Director of North American Equipment Management. She played a key role on the integration team during the acquisition of P&O Nedlloyd.

Her most recent role at Maersk was Senior Director in Operations with responsibility of larger projects and systems, such as Implementation of SAP, Rail contract negotiation, and Truck Bidding.

A native of Milford, PA, Ms. Lisk graduated from Wells College with a BS in Fine Art, English, and Italian. She has studied in Italy prior to her career with Maersk Inc. and in 2003 attended Insead’s Executive Management training in Fontainebleau France on behalf of Maersk. Ms. Lisk currently resides in St. Augustine, FL with her husband Greg and their 2 children.

TaylorBillWilliam Taylor | VP U.S. Sales, Puerto Rico

William Taylor joined TOTE Maritime in April 2012 as the Vice President U.S. Sales. He brings more than 34 years of transportation industry experience ranging from sales to trade management.

Prior to joining TOTE Maritime, Taylor began his career in New York City working for CAST in 1981 and then moved to Montreal in 1993. After CAST was acquired by CP Ships in 1995 he moved to Tampa, Florida in 1997 where he became Vice President of CP Ships Global overseeing the commercial activities of 9 different brands. Taylor then joined Tropical Shipping in October 2006 where he held senior positions responsible for the Eastern Caribbean, inter-island, and global segments of business.

He holds a communications degree from Marist College and lives with his wife Anne and their 3 children.

PaganEduardo_smallEduardo Pagan | VP & GM Caribbean Services, Puerto Rico

Eduardo Pagan joined TOTE Maritime in November of 2010 as the Vice President and General Manager of Caribbean Services. He brings more than 30 years of management consulting and transportation industry experience. Prior to joining TOTE Maritime, Pagan led his own consulting firm assisting organizations with Business Development and Strategic Planning. He played a pivotal role with the Puerto Rico Water Authority Revenue Optimization Program and both Private and Public Strategy. Pagan also worked at Unilever for 21 years in key roles including manufacturing, distribution, and international sales. He was deeply involved with Total Quality Management (TQM), Total Productivity Management (TPM), and Lean Manufacturing. In addition to the development and improvement of overall business practices, Pagan used these tools and skills to improve performance in areas such as operational productivity, safety, and environmental impact and led the Competitiveness Team and Strategy for the Puerto Rico Manufacturing Association

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a master’s degree in Business Administration.

Pagan is also an active member of the following organizations: Puerto Rico Boys & Girls Club (Vice President), Puerto Rico Manufacturing Organization (International Team Group), Puerto Rico Shipping Association (Vice President), Puerto Rico American Maritime Partnership (President), and “Juntos por Puerto Rico” (3rd Sector Group).

Michael Nicholson | VP Pricing, Puerto Rico

Michael Nicholson joined TOTE Maritime in July of 2002 as a Pricing Director for the Caribbean focused on the US Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic. He has worked directly in the maritime transportation industry since 1984.

Prior to joining TOTE Maritime, Nicholson completed the training program at US Lines in the spring of 1985. He held various pricing positions involving several International Markets: the Mideast and India with US Lines from 1984 to 1986; Europe, Asia and South America with Crowley from 1987 to 2000; and South America with Hamburg-Sud from 2000 to 2002, all before specializing in the Caribbean market with TOTE Maritime.

He holds a BS in Management and Labor Relations from Niagara University.

GaskillKaren_smallKaren Gaskill | VP Human Resources, Puerto Rico

Karen Gaskill joined TOTE Maritime in February of 2008 as a Manager of Learning and Development. She was then promoted to Director and ultimately Vice President of Human Resources. She brings 7 years of experience in the transportation industry and over 15 years of experience in Human Resources.

Prior to Joining TOTE Maritime, Gaskill served as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini focused on Customer Relationship Management. She oversaw Change Management training and implementation in over 20 Time Warner Cable Customer Service Centers from Los Angeles to Washington DC.

Gaskill holds a bachelor’s in education from Indiana State University and certification as a SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and a SHRM-SCP (SHRM Senior Certified Professional).

She supports public education by serving as the Chair of the School Advisory Council for J Allen Axson Montessori Elementary School and as the Secretary of the Duval County Schools Area Advisory Council. Gaskill lives in Jacksonville, FL with her husband Chris and their 2 children.
