TOTE Maritime Alaska – Emergency Operations Status Update #3

November 30, 2018
To our valued customers,
The TOTE team is closely monitoring the potential impact of this morning’s earthquake on the Anchorage terminal and operations.
TOTE Maritime Alaska is planning normal ship operations on Sunday, Dec. 2, pending final assessment from the Port of Alaska. We will confirm the final operations plan mid-day Saturday, Dec. 1.
The Anchorage Terminal will be open tomorrow morning at 0800 as follows:
  • 0800 – 1140
  • 1300 – as needed but no later than 1700
Due to Anchorage rail issues, there is no planned Trailer on Flat Car (TOFC) rail service available for Sunday and we will plan to utilize over-the-road service. Should there be any changes to this plan, we will keep you updated.
Roads going in and out of the terminal are fully accessible. For the most up-to-date roadway status across Alaska, please visit the Alaska 511 Traveler Info website.
Our Incident Command Team will be monitoring the situation closely over the weekend to determine the best way forward with each customer’s cargo when the vessel arrives on Sunday. We will provide updates as we learn more.
Please contact your account executive for immediate questions or concerns.
Thank you for your patience and support.
