Kaitlyn Kothenbeutel joined TOTE Maritime Alaska in January 2026. As Director of Human Resources, she is responsible for building long-term strategies in talent forecasting and retention, as well as developing world-class programs that drive employee engagement.
Previously, Kaitlyn served as a HR Leader for Boeing Defense, Space and Security Engineering with responsibility for Capabilities Engineering, Workforce, and Strategy & Integration. In her role she led long-range workforce planning and talent strategy initiatives, while ensuring business continuity through succession planning and leadership development. She brings an impressive background in human resources and strategic corporate leadership, with extensive experience supporting manufacturing and engineering operations.
Kaitlyn earned bachelors degree’s in Human Resources Management and Operations Management from the University of Idaho and a master’s degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Pennsylvania State University. She also holds the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential from the Society for Human Resource Management.
