The U.S. Energy Information Administration has restored the average diesel prices section of their website following their hardware failure. As of today July 7, 2022, they have published the July 4th West Coast(PADD5) update.
As of Monday (7/04/2022), the West Coast (PADD5) Diesel Fuel Price as published by the U.S. Dept. of Energy is $6.389 per gallon (please refer the following link: (https://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/). This price level corresponds with an inland/arbitrary fuel surcharge of 66.90% as published in tariff STB TOTE 101-Aand TOCT 402-A per Item 346.
Therefore, effective July 17, 2022, the inland/arbitrary fuel surcharge Item 346 shall be reduced to 66.90%.
Please note: the ocean fuel surcharge will remain as published in TOTE Maritime Alaska tariffs under Item 345.
