Dear TOTE Maritime Alaska Customers,
The Port of Alaska recently published its 2025, Port Modernization assessment. Consequently, TOTE Maritime Alaska has filed updates to Item 695, Port of Alaska Modernization Surcharge, as published in Tariff STB TOTE 101-A. TOTE Maritime’s related tariff updates will become effective January 1, 2025.
Tariff Item 695 reflects the following per-unit updates, effective January 1, 2025:
Northbound
Trailers, Flatbed Trailers, or Containers: $79
Automobiles and other drive-on/off units described in Tariff STBTOTE 601-A, Items 2097, 2500, 2910, 2917, 2945, 2950, and 2959: $23
Drive-on/off units described in Tariff STB TOTE 601-A, Item 2685(Machinery): $4.80 per short ton (2,000 pounds)
Southbound
Trailers, Flatbed Trailers, or Containers: $40
Automobiles and other drive-on/off units described in Tariff STBTOTE 601-A, Items 2097, 2500, 2910, 2917, 2945, 2950, and 2959: $23
Drive-on/off units described in Tariff STB TOTE 601-A, Item 2685(Machinery): $4.80 per short ton (2,000 pounds)
Tariff Item 695 does not apply to southbound dunnage loads.
