ANCHORAGE, Alaska December 4, 2025 – TOTE Maritime Alaska, LLC (TOTE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Corey Nichols as the new Vice President and Alaska General Manager. He succeeds Art Dahlin, who was promoted to Vice President of Commercial with TOTE in August.
Nichols brings more than two decades of leadership experience in logistics and supply chain management. Most recently, he served with Walmart, where he held leadership roles overseeing operations, distribution, and regional strategy in the Hawaii and Alaska markets.
As the Vice President and Alaska General Manager, Nichols will be responsible for executing TOTE’s strategy in the state, including operations, customer engagement, safety, and community relations. He will play a key role in ensuring TOTE continues to deliver best-in-class service while maintaining the company’s strong commitment to safety, innovation, and partnerships across Alaska.
“Corey’s experience in the Alaska supply chain and proven leadership in complex operational environments make him an exceptional addition to the TOTE team,” said Bill Crawford, President of TOTE Maritime Alaska. “His expertise and people-first approach will be instrumental in upholding the work we do every day to serve Alaska.”
Nichols is passionate about serving the communities that TOTE supports.
“I’m honored to join a company with such a long-standing commitment to Alaska,” Nichols said. “TOTE plays a critical role in keeping the state connected, and I look forward to working alongside this dedicated team to continue building on that legacy.”
This year, TOTE celebrates 50 years in Alaska, providing twice-weekly service between Tacoma, Washington, and the Don Young Port of Alaska. The company is a leader in maritime innovation and a trusted transportation partner to businesses across the state.
