Tim Nolan

President & CEO

Tim Nolan, a senior executive with 25+ years of maritime experience in commercial, supply chain logistics and strategy development, was named President & CEO of TOTE Group in July 2018. The Jacksonville based TOTE Group is part of the Saltchuk family of companies. Built to better serve customers, TOTE Group connects ship services, cargo operations, vessel construction management and technical solutions across Maritime, Terminals, and Services business lines dedicated to safety, commitment, and integrity.

Under Nolan’s leadership, TOTE has become one of the most reliable and efficient carriers in the maritime industry. One of his first initiatives was to lead the co-location of TOTE’s business units and other key functions, which had been dispersed across North America. Driven by a commitment to operational excellence, TOTE has invested hundreds of millions of dollars to make it the first company in the world to convert its fleet of vessels to liquified natural gas (LNG), the cleanest maritime fuel available in the global market. Tim has also led the TOTE Services business line to launch a vessel construction management program for the five MARAD owned National Security Multi-Mission Vessels.

Recognizing the important role that the domestic maritime industry plays in our nation’s economy, Nolan serves in leadership roles for various maritime-related business and industry associations. Nolan currently serves on the board of the Jacksonville-based charity Dreams Come True and has shared his time with other non-profit organizations. Nolan lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and their 3 children.

Mike Noone

Chief Operating Officer

Mike Noone is the Chief Operating Officer at TOTE Group since January 2022, and has over 30 years of experience in shipping and logistics. He is responsible for TOTE's commercial strategic direction across all business units ensuring best-in-class culture and collaboration that drives growth, innovation, and the greatest value to stakeholders.

Noone joined TOTE Alaska in 2013 as President. After five years, he transitioned to president of TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico, and in January 2022 began his role as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his time with TOTE, Noone served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for Yusen Logistics Americas (formerly NYK Logistics). He was responsible for leading strategic direction and execution for the company’s six business units. Before his time at Yusen, Noone spent a total of 21 years with Maersk companies and five years with APL, part of the NOL Group.

Noone instilled a sense of giving back to the communities touched by TOTE through his leadership of the Corporate Social Responsibility program. As President of TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico, he remains supportive of various organizations including The Jay Fund, The Boys & Girls Club of PR, Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, and many others. Noone graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY.

Jeff Tobin

Chief financial officer

Jeff Tobin rejoined TOTE as CFO in September 2018, bringing over 20 years of finance and accounting experience. During his previous 10 years at TOTE, he attained Sr. Director of Finance and Corporate Controller.

Prior to rejoining TOTE, Tobin did a short assignment as CFO of Northern Aviation Services, a Saltchuk sister company. Prior to this, Tobin held various finance roles with PACCAR, a leading manufacturer of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. Those positions included Director of Engineering Accounting and Cost Accounting Manager at Kenworth, Assistant Controller at PACCAR Leasing and Sr. Internal Auditor. Prior to PACCAR, he held accounting positions with a large commercial printing and manufacturing firm

Tobin participated in the Executive Leadership Program at the PACCAR Institute and further enriched his expertise through the Executive Excellence Program at the University of Washington. He has a degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University.

Joe Misenti

General Counsel & Chief Ethics Officer

Joe Misenti assumed the role of General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer at TOTE, Inc. in October 2018.

Prior to joining TOTE, Joe spent 10 years in the Alaska seafood industry, employed by Trident Seafoods Corp. and Silver Bay Seafoods, L.L.C., where he held senior legal positions as an Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel with management responsibilities over risk, compliance and human resources.

Jeff Dixon

President, TOTE Services

Jeff Dixon was named President of TOTE Services in January 2019 and has 30 years of diverse maritime experience. As President, Dixon leads the expert team that oversees a fleet of 27 vessels and eight hundred mariners, including the world’s first LNG-fueled containerships, and the nation’s first LNG bunkering barge. He is also responsible for numerous Military Sealift Command (MSC) and U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) contract vessels operating around the world.

Dixon is a graduate of the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn., and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Economics and a Master’s in Public Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Kevin D. Kendrick

President, TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico

Kevin D. Kendrick was named President of TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico business unit in January 2022. As President of TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico, Kendrick is responsible for maintaining the company's commitment to service excellence and leading the organization's operating strategies. Kendrick joined TOTE in March of 2012 as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing the organization more than 21 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry.

Kendrick began his career with the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group in 1991. He was selected for the Maersk Management Training Program and began his career as an outside sales representative in St. Louis. Later, he expanded Maersk’s presence in the Midwest by opening and managing the company’s Kansas City office. Kendrick continued to advance in sales management and general management for Maersk Inc.

Alex Hofeling

President, TOTE Maritime Alaska

As the President of TOTE Maritime Alaska, Alex Hofeling manages all commercial and operational activities for TOTE Group’s carrier company serving the Alaska trade. Hofeling joined TOTE Maritime Alaska in 2013 as Regional Sales Manager until being promoted to General Manager in 2018. Previously, Hofeling served as the Vice President and General Manager of TOTE Maritime Alaska in Anchorage, working closely with customers, communities, public officials, labor interests and others to fulfill the commitment to serving those in the 49th state.

Hofeling holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Washington, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Seattle University.

Alyse Lisk

SVP of Technology & Operational Excellence

Alyse Lisk was named Senior Vice President of Technology and Operational Excellence for TOTE Group in October 2018. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring operational excellence for the Maritime, Terminals, and Services business lines. Lisk is dedicated to continuous organizational improvement by leveraging technology, people, and process.

Previously, Lisk was Vice President of Cargo Services at TOTE for seven years. Prior to joining TOTE, Lisk was Vice President of Market Management for the Transportation Division at Yusen Logistics, (formerly known as NYK Logistics). She began her career in transportation logistics at A.P. Moller-Maersk more than 20 years ago, advancing her way through various positions of increasing responsibility.

Lisk completed her undergraduate studies at Wells College, earning a BS degree in Fine Art, English, and Italian. She also studied at the Lorenzo de' Medici School in Italy, as well as Insead's Executive Management training in Fontainebleau, France.
