Whether on the phone, via email, or through our customer portal, the booking team is often the first stop for TOTE customers. As part of Cargo Services and the broader Customer Service department, this group of highly detail-oriented people manages all aspects of the booking process for all cargo types, facilitating the delivery of cargo week in and week out.
Collectively with the Customer Service and Regulatory teams, Booking Specialists are critical to providing customers with the service excellence that defines TOTE. From the ins and outs of vehicle shipping to the Caribbean to ensuring an overweight permit is complete to allow the pick-up of a load at a particular location, customers rely on this team's vast knowledge and industry experience to keep their cargo in motion. And with a call response time of less than 11 seconds, the group continues to raise the bar for an efficient and reliable customer experience.
In addition to the team's day-to-day functions, Booking Specialists play a key role in many onboarding projects and training for new hires and cross-functional training across the organization.
